Crawfish harvesters, wholesalers and processors are waiting to see if the federal government will declare a disaster for their industry.

A taste of Louisiana is coming to Austin with the help of a new Cajun restaurant.

Lil' Easy is set to open soon at 5000 E. Cesar Chavez St. An exact opening date is not yet known, but the dive bar was originally scheduled to open in late February, according to a post from the Instagram account When Where What Austin.

The only hint we have is a Friday Instagram post from Lil' Easy saying, "Spoiler alert: something cool is coming."

Lil' Easy comes from the creators of restaurant Sawyer & Co, according to When Where What Austin, and Lil' Easy even held a pop-up crawfish boil at Sawyer & Co on April 4.

The new Cajun restaurant will serve up not just crawfish but hushpuppies, boudin crackers, gumbo and more, as seen in Lil' Easy's Instagram photos and pop-up crawfish boil menu.
